about

This album was recorded by Spectre Folk at Three's Brewing in Brooklyn in June of 2019. The small room made the group apply a Les Rallizes by way of California chiller approach to our sound. It was a great room and a nice audience. The band this night was Meehan on guitar, Ibold on bass, Shelley on drums and myself. Because of my perceived California vibes I took it upon myself to pull a Richard Prince and outright steal the cover art from the public domain that is Instagram. This art resides on the feed of my favorite fish taco place: Mariscos German Beyer. This taco truck is way down in San Diego. You can see Mexico from this spot. I also took their name for the record. I hope they're not pissed. Free advertising!
