Magik Markers - 700 Years on the JMZ

from Magik Markers " Some Funk for Tunc and Squeo" by MAGIK MARKERS

about

This track is also from our time in the Magikal Fat Worm space. We played all night at this sess and borrowed a screwy casio keyboard for this... Shaw's on drums... we went apeshit with the overdubs. It doesn't make any more sense that way... I'm also kind of amazed this hasn't emerged until now. We've really been keeping a bunch in the bottle trying to work out this last Drag City record... Anyway... I'm pulling the cork!

lyrics

700 do what you can
700 you're a natural born man
You spent 24 hours on a New York Line
Feeling just alright
700 take what you can
700 I'm gonna blank out
