This tune was recorded around the time we did the split record with Sic Alps. We borrowed a great practice space from our friends Fat Worm of Error in Northampton. It was in the back of a mechanics garage. A great big room with loading bay doors that opened up to a forest with an abandoned fish hatchery. This space was fucking dope. It was pretty soon after John joined the band so we were just having a blast jamming again. He was pretty green then. He'd bust out these awesome bass riffs left and right ... just little phrases and snatches .. I'd be like "whoa play that again!" and he'd play something different.. he could never remember what he'd just played 2 seconds before back then..Such was the case with the killer bass riff on this tune.. I think we had to work it out to catch it from the either...

Anyway this tune has us operating in the same mode as on the Sic/Magik split... just instrumental heavyness... Elisa's got her Blue Box/Wah/Space Echo tone in full effect... I even play a drum solo.. This song kind of rules.. hard.. I can't believe it hasn't appeared anywhere till now. I guess you can thank bandcamp for getting me digging through the stacks. That and Squeo for saying he likes seeing how our brains work when they're not polished and pristine.
