Noise Against Fascism (Washington DC 2005

about

This track takes place at the Noise Against Fascism. We could really use this concert right now. As I recall, things didn't seem half as fascist as they do now. I did meet Krist Novoselic at this gig. I gave him a copy of our "I Trust My Guitar, Etc... " rec. I haven't gotten any fan mail from him, but I'm sure he loved it.

This gig was set up by our friend Chris Grier, who passed away a few years ago in NYC. He was a swell guy. I remember staying at his apartment once which was within spitting distance of the Capital. We left all our gear in the car in spite of the fact it was just a parking lot in the middle of the city. He swore it would be safe and it was. It was a swank pad. He wouldn't tell us what he did for a living, but after that night we were convinced he was CIA.
