about

This is an early early version of the song that later became "the Lighter Side of Hippies" on the Balf Quarry record. This slowed down sludgy version is pretty hip. This is the way we played it live as evidenced on the Danau Blues record that you can also hear on this Bandcamp site. This was recorded at my friend Randy Lee Sutherland's practice space in San Francisco on Moss street. For a while we contemplated calling our follow up to BOSS, MOSS. That would have been funny I think.
