about

This album was originally released as a limited edition CDR in 2007. In the era of Volcanic Tongue, Jack Rose used to say that the CDR was like counterfeit money. I definitely used jams like this one to supplement my share of the rent at 896 Willoughby Avenue in Bushwick, Brooklyn where this beast was created. I was clearly under the influence of my compatriots in Leeds like Vibracathedral Orchestra, Total, and Ashtray Navigations with whom I'd recently spent a lot of time in various basement jam zones. I believe I'm using violins, guitars, and synths to create this schema. I believe discogs has this listed as Asylum, but the title was really Oratum. Like a masculine prayer.
