about

This is one of my favorite early records. It comes from the second big tour we did of the east coast and the south along with Western MA psych rock gods Astral Blessings. This was such a fun tour and our first time out really making our sound work and evolve over time. There were a lot of great shows on this tour but this one stands out as the most free and spacious; full of instant compositions that really express what we were doing at the time. I love thinking about this time. It was our first time ever in Asheville at this club called Vincent's Ear. I don't even know if an audience showed up. It was our own space and time.

This record was originally released on Eddie Flower's (Crawlspace/Gizmos) excellent label Slippy Town.
